Sawako Kuronuma is the one of the main character in Kimi Ni Todoke. Due to appearance and her gloomy face, she is not able to make friends. Instead, she scares people away. Thus, her nickname became Sadako.

Sawako is shy yet kind-hearted girl.She can get nervous easily and when she tried to smile, the smile became a creepy smile. She hoped to make friends and be more open-minded to her class.
